We're inviting artists of all ages and abilities to share work for our upcoming gallery exhibition, Inspired by Nature. We invite artists to interpret this theme in their own way.
Whether your inspiration comes from a favorite hiking trail, native plants, changing seasons, natural materials, or the colors and patterns found in nature, we'd love to see your perspective.

Theme
Nature surrounds us in countless forms — from sweeping landscapes and quiet woodlands to blooming gardens, winding shorelines, mushrooms, and wildlife. Interpret this theme in your own way. All artistic mediums are welcome.

Some examples of what your artwork could be inspired by
- Photographs or paintings of mountain ranges, bodies of water, volcanos, sunsets.
- Sculptures made of natural materials like stone, clay, and wood.
- Kinetic sculptures that move with airflow, such as mobiles or fabric installations.
How to enter
Submission guidelines
- Artists may submit up to two pieces of artwork for consideration.
- Please submit your original artwork no later than September 16, 2026.
- All artwork must be original and ready for display.
- A brief artist statement highlighting the connection to the exhibition theme.
- The price of your artwork, if you wish to sell it.
- A signed Exhibition Agreement.

Three ways to submit
- 1Email a photo of your completed artwork to Melissa Thiel.
- 2Arrange a drop-off time for your completed artwork with Melissa.
- 3Send your completed artwork via mail to the gallery address.

Artwork display details
The exhibit will be open to SSC residents, staff, families, and the wider community — creating a shared space for connection, reflection, and creativity.
